A new member of the NNRG family

The Northern National Restoration Group is proud to announce, this evening we welcomed former NEETs Volvo Olympian Northern County's Palatine 2 S814 FVK 3814 from NELSAM to Philadelphia Depot. The vehicle was acquired in July 2021 and has finally made it home.

This afternoon the move took place thanks to David Dove Recovery LTD, with Alex shunting the depot around at Philadelphia. 4710, 4855 and 4898 all made an appearance. Craig and Alan headed over to NELSAM where they had to move a LYNX before 3814. After two hours 3814 was fired up and driven out of the shed. After being loaded up she was brought down the Washington Highway into NNRG HQ.

Although the company had purchased some low-floor buses in 1997, 3814 was new to South Sheilds in 1998, when the company purchased their last batch of step-entrance buses.

She now joins the NNRG collection of six buses, 3814 will retain her yellow bus branding.
