A visit from Copt Hill
EXCITING update!! The Northern National Restoration Group (NNRG) have now moved their collection of buses to the former Philadelphia Power Station site. This will allow for the expansion and restoration of the collection, eventually allowing for access to the public who will be able to visit the site and view the buses.
On Sunday 05 January 2020 we had Councillor Kevin Johnston visit our new home in Philadelphia, this is what he had to say;
Councillor Kevin Johnston visited the site today and met with Craig Smith from the Northern National Restoration Group to see the progress that has been made.
Cllr Johnston said “This is great news for the site and the next step along in the process with this project. Copt Hill Ward Councillors will continue to support the NNRG and the plans to help restore the Grade ii listed building into a potential community venue.”
