7076 Volvo B10M/Plaxton Premiere seen outside NNRG HQ

This morning, March 29th, 2022, the Northern National Restoration Group welcomes a new visitor to the NNRG HQ at Philadelphia.

It gives us great excitement as a group that we welcome 7076 Volvo B10M/Plaxton Premiere to the depot. 7076 was purchased by Go-Ahead Northern in 1997, this was the last manual coach ordered and delivered with registration YSU 876.

The coach was purchased for National Express services and was fitted with a toilet and servery and carried the National Express Rapid livery. It carried various National Express livery until it was withdrawn from service but retained by Go Northeast and tasked with driver training duties. Before leaving Go Northeast, the private registration was sold and now resides on a Ferrari.

The coach then was registered R139 ABT. It was then sold to Nightingale Coaches gaining the new private registration C15 NGC. The toilet and servery were removed, and the coach up seated for scholars work. Its be unused since the pandemic hit in 2020 and was sold for preservation in August 2021, where it will gain its original livery and receive a full mechanical overhaul.

7076 belongs to James Daglish and you can follow the progress of 7076 on 7076 preservation society Facebook page.
